There is no council-run Christmas market in High Wycombe town centre this year, or at least none announced, but four Christmas shopping events within a few miles already have dates. The first is in mid-November at Peterley Manor Farm near Prestwood; the biggest free one is at West Wycombe’s Walled Garden on the last weekend of November.

It is ticketed. Tickets go on sale on Saturday 3 October 2026, with the farm’s mailing list subscribers getting early access from 2 October. The postcode is HP16 0HH. Ticket prices have not been published yet.

The Walled Garden, West Wycombe: 27 to 29 November

Humble Country’s Christmas market returns to the Walled Garden at West Wycombe for a third year, with up to 60 stalls of makers, gifts and festive food (The Walled Garden).

  • Friday 27 November, 4pm to 8pm: ticketed opening night, £10 entry, with a welcome drink, mince pies, live music and stallholders’ opening-night offers (Hellfire Caves, The Walled Garden).
  • Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November: free entry, with festive food, mulled wine, workshops and live music.
  • Free parking, according to the venue.

The organiser says it drew over 4,000 visitors last November and expects 4,000 to 5,000 this time, with the stalls under a marquee (Humble Country). One slip to note: the organiser’s stallholder page calls the opening night “Thursday 27 November”. 27 November 2026 is a Friday, and the venue’s own listing says Friday.

The Walled Garden also hosts a free afternoon of carols; its date has not been published yet.

Princes Risborough Christmas Lights Switch On: 28 November

Princes Risborough Town Council holds its lights switch-on on the High Street on Saturday 28 November, 3pm to 6pm, and is taking bookings from stallholders now, so expect a street market around it. The council’s listing still says “event details to be confirmed” (Princes Risborough Town Council).

Marlow Late Night Shopping: 3 December

Marlow and District Chamber of Commerce’s annual late night shopping evening is on Thursday 3 December 2026. The shops stay open late, the street fills with gift stalls, and local school children sing carols (Visit Marlow). Opening hours for the evening have not been published.

Getting there and parking

Council car parks in High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough were free after 10am on two Saturdays last December. Our Christmas trains and travel page has the list, and parking in High Wycombe has the everyday charges.
