Wycombe Green Belt Traveller Sites: Officers Say Approve

High Wycombe sits in a gap in the Chilterns and made furniture for centuries, the chairs turned from beech cut in the woods above the town. Marlow is down on the Thames with the suspension bridge, Princes Risborough is the other side of the hills, and Bourne End, Hazlemere, Flackwell Heath and the Chiltern villages fill in around them.

Wycombe Today reports what the record shows across all of it. Since 2020 one authority has run everything here: Buckinghamshire Council took over from the county and the districts, so planning, bins, roads, licensing, council tax and schools all come out of the same place.
