Remembrance Sunday is 8 November 2026. Two of the three towns this site covers have already put it in their diaries: Marlow’s parade and service on The Causeway, and Princes Risborough’s in the Market Square and St Mary’s Church. High Wycombe’s organisers have published nothing yet.

Marlow

Marlow Town Council confirms the Remembrance Parade and Service for Sunday 8 November 2026 and says further details will follow (Marlow Town Council). It is also listed on the council’s events page.

Last year’s is the best guide to the format. On Sunday 9 November 2025 the parade of serving forces, veterans, the Royal British Legion, cadets, Brownies, Guides and Scouts marched from Pound Lane to The Causeway, led by the Scots Guards Association Pipe Band. The service was led by the Rev’d Sarah Jones of All Saints’ Church, and the Deputy Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Naomi Riches, began the wreath-laying and took the salute from a podium near the gold post box (Marlow Town Council).

The route means Pound Lane and The Causeway are the places to stand, and the places not to try to drive through that morning. The council has not yet published a road closure notice for 2026; its temporary road closures page is where it posts them.

Princes Risborough

Princes Risborough Town Council lists Remembrance Sunday on 8 November 2026, 9.30am to 11.30am, at the Market Square, HP27 0AN, and St Mary’s Church, Church Street, HP27 9AA. The council says “event details to be confirmed”, so the order of the morning, the parade route and the time of the two-minute silence are still to come (Princes Risborough Town Council).

High Wycombe

No 2026 arrangements have been published for High Wycombe town. The town’s war memorial stands outside All Saints’ Church. A page kept by the Mayor of High Wycombe’s office describes the traditional format: the parade and service are arranged through the Mayor’s office, and the Mayor, with an Air Officer from RAF High Wycombe, takes the salute in the High Street before wreaths are laid at the memorial (Mayor of High Wycombe). That page was last edited in 2010, so treat it as a description of the tradition, not of this year’s plan. This page will carry the time and route when they are published.

Armistice Day

Armistice Day, 11 November, falls on a Wednesday this year. Neither the Marlow nor the Princes Risborough events diary lists an Armistice Day observance yet.
