We checked 7 places to buy a real Christmas tree near High Wycombe, from Lacey's at Lane End to The Tree Barn, for 2026 dates and prices. Updated November 2026.

There are seven places to buy a real Christmas tree near High Wycombe in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with opening dates, prices where they are published, and delivery. The names most people land on are Lacey’s Family Farm at Lane End, the nearest farm to the town; The Tree Barn at Christmas Common, which has grown the Downing Street tree; and the Christmas Tree Farm at Chesham, a big choose-and-collect grower. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.

We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does. High Wycombe has no tree farm inside the town, so the five places you can visit are farms and a garden centre in the Chiltern villages and around Marlow, and the other two deliver to your door.

Lacey’s, Peterley Manor Farm, Hillier and the Chesham farm do not publish tree prices online, so ask when you get there.

Farms near the town

1. Lacey’s Family Farm, Lane End

Lacey’s is a working farm at Bolter End, just outside Lane End, where the family says seven generations have farmed since 1884. It keeps a pedigree Guernsey herd, bottles its own milk on site and runs a farm shop, deli and butcher’s.

Its website says “premium Christmas trees” are on sale from 28 November 2026, and the farm shop takes pre-orders for Christmas food, with geese collected on 22, 23 and 24 December. It does not say online what trees it has or what they cost, so ring before a special trip.

The shop is closed on Mondays.

2. Peterley Manor Farm, Prestwood

Peterley Manor Farm is a family-run farm on Peterley Lane, off the A4128 between High Wycombe and Great Missenden, with a farm shop, pick your own, a cafe and a plant nursery. It grows Christmas trees and posts tree care advice on its own site, but it had not published 2026 tree dates or prices on 5 November, so check before you set off.

When it last posted tree hours it opened Tuesday to Saturday 8.30am to 5pm and Sundays 10am to 4pm in the run-up to Christmas. Its ticketed Christmas Market, with more than 90 stalls in the greenhouses, runs from 12 to 15 November 2026, and it runs Christmas wreath workshops.

3. The Tree Barn, Christmas Common

The Tree Barn is a small family Christmas tree farm at Greenfield Farm, Christmas Common, in the Chilterns above Watlington, reached from High Wycombe by the M40 to Stokenchurch. It says it has sold trees for more than 50 years, has won the British Christmas Tree Growers Association’s best tree competition three times and supplied the tree outside 10 Downing Street in 2011, 2013 and 2015.

Its 2026 price list, dated 28 October, covers Nordmann fir, Norway spruce and Serbian spruce from 3ft up to 30ft, and pot-grown trees. It delivers trees up to 9ft within 30 miles, but only if you buy in person; there is no online ordering.

Dogs are welcome where the trees are sold, though not in the shop unless carried. The shop and barn are wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet, and the farm suggests weekdays because weekends get very busy.

The Coffee Cabin in the farmyard serves hot drinks and snacks. It does not hire out trees.

4. Christmas Tree Farm, Chesham

The Christmas Tree Farm sits on the A416 between Chesham and Amersham, half a mile from Chesham town centre. It says it is one of the largest growers in the south east, has sold trees for 34 years and grows them all within three miles of Chesham, and does not start cutting until the last few days of November.

Trees are un-netted so you can see them, then staff wrap them for the car and prepare them for your stand at no charge. There is no booking and no charge for entry or parking, and it has indoor and outdoor sales points, with the sales area floodlit.

It does not deliver. It opens for trees on 21 November 2026 but had not posted 2026 hours; in 2025 it opened daily 9am to 5pm, with late evenings to 7.30pm in the first two weeks of December.

5. Hillier Garden Centre, Marlow

Hillier’s Marlow garden centre is on Pump Lane South, just off the A404 on the north east side of Marlow. Hillier’s real Christmas tree page was still headed 2025 on 5 November; it says the chain sells UK-grown cut Nordmann fir, slim Nordmann and Fraser fir, and pot-grown trees, and that members of its free Gardening Club get £10 off cut trees over 6ft.

Hillier does not publish Marlow tree prices online, and its online shop sells artificial trees only, so ask in the centre. The garden centre has a restaurant.

6. Jacksons Nurseries, delivery to High Wycombe

Jacksons Nurseries is an online nursery with a page for Christmas tree delivery to High Wycombe, which says it delivers to all parts of Wycombe and the surrounding area. It sells fresh-cut Nordmann firs in standard and slim shapes and Norway spruce, sent to your door.

On 5 November its Wycombe page listed a 3 to 4ft Nordmann at £44.99, a slim 6 to 7ft Nordmann at £79.99 and a 4 to 5ft Norway spruce at £44.99, all shown as reduced.

7. We Tree Kings, delivery to High Wycombe

We Tree Kings is a family-run tree delivery firm that has a High Wycombe page and also lists Marlow among the places it covers. It says every tree it sells is UK-grown and hand-graded, and that delivery is free Monday to Friday on a day you choose at checkout.

Its High Wycombe page lists cut Nordmann fir from £79, Norway spruce from £75 and pot-grown Nordmann fir, for replanting, from £79.

How we chose

We started from the growers and sellers within a short drive of High Wycombe in the Chilterns and around Marlow, and the delivery firms that name the town on their own websites. Each entry was read against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026 for dates, opening hours, varieties, prices and delivery. Prices are only those the seller publishes. We left out Dobbies at Beaconsfield, whose website could not be read when we checked, and older directory listings for tree sales at Wendover Woods, which have stopped.
